Testing Classification Scripts and Domain Name Parsing

From SAE Web Admin, you can also:

• Test and debug subscriber and interface classification scripts before you install the scripts in the real system.
• Test domain name parsing.

You can create the script in an editor and paste it into the test page, or you can type the script on the test page and copy the content to SDX Admin after you test the script.

To access the testing components from SAE Web Admin, in the navigation pane click Tester.

The Tester page appears.

Testing Classification Scripts for a Subscriber

To test classification scripts for a subscriber:

1. In the navigation pane, expand Tester, and click Classifier.
2. On the Classifier tester page, click User classify tester.

The User Classifier Tester page appears.

3. Enter information in the fields on the page, and click Show Result.

Testing Classification Scripts for an Interface

To test classification scripts for an interface:.

1. In the navigation pane, expand Tester, and click Classifier.
2. On the Classifier tester page, click Interface classify tester.

The Interface Classifier Tester page appears.

3. Enter information in the fields on the page, and click Show Result.

Testing Domain Name Parser Scripts

To test domain name parsing:

1. In the navigation pane, expand Tester, and click Domain Parser.

The Domain parser tester page appears.

2. Enter the following information:

• Domain name parsing expressions
• Login name

3. Click Show Result.
