Starting SAE Web Admin

To start SAE Web Admin, you need the name or IP address of the SAE host and the port for SAE Web Admin. The port number is 8443 unless you changed this value.

To start SAE Web Admin:

1. Start the Web browser.
2. Enter the name or IP address of the SAE and the port number for SAE Web Admin in the format:

https://<SAE-host>:8443/adm/

A Connect to <SAE-host> dialog box appears.

3. In the Connect to dialog box, enter your username and password.

The default for both the username and the password is admin.

The SAE authenticates the access by using an account stored in the directory. The default configuration requires that the account be created in the folder ou=webadmin, o=Operators, o=umc.

The SAE Web Admin main page appears.
