Overview of Monitoring and Troubleshooting Tools
The SDX software provides the following tools to help you monitor and troubleshoot your SDX environment:
- Logging support for SDX components
- Router simulation to facilitate application testing
- SNMP agent to monitor SDX components as well as system performance. The agent can send data to SNMP network management systems.
- SNMP trap notification to SNMP management systems
- SAE Web administration tool to monitor and troubleshoot the SAE.
- NIC Web administration tool to monitor and troubleshoot NIC.
- NIC proxy to troubleshoot NIC configuration.
In addition, the Volume Tracking Application in the SDX application library includes a Web-based application to test events.
The SDX software also includes various sample and test clients for the dynamic service activator, the SAE remote interface, and the SAE plug-in interface.
