Upgrading the SDX Software

To upgrade the SDX software from an earlier release:

  1. Remove previously installed SDX components.

See Installing the SDX-300 Software.

  1. Remove all other components to be upgraded.
  2. Install the SDX software. Complete all the installation steps in Chapter 5, Installing the SDX-300 Software.
  3. Update the workspace for the SDX Configuration Editor.

See Chapter 17, Using SDX Configuration Editor.

  1. (Optional) Perform migration procedures to preserve data from a previous installation.
