SNMP Master Agent Requirements
The SDX SNMP agent cannot act as a master agent, and it can communicate with master agents only by using the Agent Extensibility (AgentX) protocol. The SDX SNMP agent runs as a subagent to an installed AgentX master agent. For more information about the SNMP agent, see Chapter 10, Configuring and Starting the SDX SNMP Agent.
