Operating the License Server

After you install the SDX components, start the license server before you start the SAE for the first time. After you have started the license server and the SAE, you can stop and restart either component at any time.

• To start the license server:

/opt/UMC/licsvr/etc/licsvr start

• To verify that the license server is running:

/opt/UMC/licsvr/etc/licsvr status

• To stop the license server:

/opt/UMC/licsvr/etc/licsvr stop
