Release 9.0 Features

The following features have been added to JUNOScope Release 9.0. For more detailed information, see the appropriate sections of the JUNOScope Software User Guide.

• Automated Event Script Deployment—JUNOScope users can now deploy JUNOS event scripts to multiple devices using the Scripts wizard. Event scripts can be enabled or disabled using the Scripts wizard, while deploying an event script to target devices running JUNOS 8.5 or later versions. This feature also allows Advanced Insight Manager (AIM) users to download and deploy an Advanced Insight scripts (AI scripts) bundle from a centralized place, to multiple devices running JUNOS 9.0 or later versions, using an integrated workflow between AIM and JUNOScope. To deploy JUNOS event-scripts to multiple devices, select Configuration > Repository > Scripts. • JUNOScope Element Management of MX240 Ethernet Services Router—The JUNOScope software now provides element management for the Juniper Networks MX240 Ethernet Services Router. For more information about the MX240 Ethernet Services Router, see the hardware guide. The JUNOScope software allows you to configure the MX240 Ethernet Services Router and manage it using element management tools, such as Looking Glass, Configuration Manager, Software Manager, and Inventory Management.
