Filling out the Application to Become a J-Partner Reseller
1. Q. Who is the right person in my company to complete the registration to become a J-Partner Reseller?
A. The online registration should be completed by an individual from your company who can represent and accept the terms and conditions of Juniper Networks J-Partner Reseller Program.
2. Q. What is the role of my companies J-Partner Primary Contact?
A. The Primary Contact provides Juniper Networks someone who completes the J-Partner Reseller Program registration form and is authorized to accept the Juniper Networks T&Cs. Upon approval of this registration, becoming an authorized J-Partner Reseller, this primary contact will disseminate the 10 digit J-Partner Authorization Code (password to enable access to Partner Center ) and VAR ID number (allows authorized personnel to order product through a Juniper authorized distributor) to others within their organization. The primary contact will be responsible for providing Juniper with any Company Profile changes or updates. These changes will not be accepted without this contact's approval.
3. Q. How do I know if someone from my company has already registered?
A. Contact your Juniper CAM or Marketing Manager, or your Juniper Regional Administrator to request this information.

4. Q. How do I change my companies J-Partner profile information after I have completed and submitted the registration form?
A. Once your J-Partner registration is approved, you can change your companies J-Partner profile information by sending an email to your Juniper Regional Administrator.

5. Q. I started my registration form but didn't have time to finish it. How do I retrieve my registration form?
A. Only completed registration forms will be stored. We expect to offer this feature and other enhancements in 2006.
6. Q. How will other employees within my company get registered and access the Juniper Partner Center.
A. Once your company's J-Partner application to become a J-Partner Reseller is approved, employees can set up their individual user account by going to Sign Up for an Account. During Step 1 users must input your company's 10 digit J-Partner Authorization Code - this information was disseminated by the primary contact. Your company email address will become your "User ID" to log into the Juniper Partner Center.

7. Q. How will I be notified of my acceptance or denial?
A. Once your registration has been submitted and approved you will receive an email from us confirming the acceptance into the J-Partner Program.
8. Q. How soon will my application be approved?
A. Once the online registration is complete, you will typically receive an approval email within two working days. For EMEA and APAC partners this process may take three working days.
9. Q. I have completed my J-Partner registration, but have not received an email confirmation. What do I do?
A. If your primary contact has completed the registration form but has not received the 'Congratulations' email notification; first please check your SPAM folder to ensure that this notification did not get put into a junk email folder. You can contact your Juniper Regional Administrator to check the status:

10. Q. I have received confirmation of my new user account but I still can't log in. What do I do?
A. Try resetting your password "Forgot My Password". If you still can not log in, or have a specific error message, go to Login Assistance for additional assistance.
11. Q. How soon can I buy Juniper product after registering?
A. You can purchase Juniper product from an authorized Juniper distributor upon Juniper's acceptance of becoming a Juniper Networks Authorized J-Partner Reseller.
12. Q. How do I buy Juniper products?
A. As a Juniper Networks J-Partner Reseller, you can purchase our products from the Juniper's authorized distributor, which you selected during the J-Partner registration process. If you would like a complete list of distributors, please log into the Juniper Partner Center and view distributor information under 'Selling Tools'.
13. Q. What is an authorization code and how do I get one?
A. A J-Partner authorization code is the 10 digit code required to register for a Juniper Networks Partner Center individual user account. The Partner Center provides a wealth of information and tools to assist you in training, selling, marketing and supporting your sales. Each J-Partner is assigned a 10-digit authorization code when your registration is approved to become a J-Partner. Once your partnership is accepted the primary contact will receive your authorization code by email. If you or someone else from your company has received an authorization code you can register for a Partner Center user account by going to Sign Up for an Account.
14. Q. What is a VAR ID and how do I get one?
A. The primary contact that completed the on-line J-Partner application and received and acceptance email notification will receive the VAR ID number to share within the J-Partners organization. An individual at the partner site can retrieve the VAR ID number from the primary contact or by sending a request to their Juniper Regional Administrator:

15. Q. Do I need to notify my distributor that I will be purchasing Juniper products?
A. No, we will automatically notify your selected authorized Juniper distributor once you become eligible to purchase Juniper Products.
16. Q. What is a distributor account number and how do I find it?
A. The distributor account number is your account number with the distributor that you plan to purchase Juniper's products. As part of the online registration process you are required to select one of the Juniper's pre-selected distributors that you also have an account with. If you do not have an account with one of these distributors, please select and contact an authorized Juniper distributor to set up an account prior to completing the online registration application.
