Our Vision
Juniper Networks is committed to making a significant, positive impact in the communities where we do business. By developing relationships and partnering with organizations throughout the world, we support efforts and programs that improve the quality of life in our society.
Foundation Fund
Juniper Networks Foundation Fund (JNFF) was established in May 2000 as a charitable fund with the Silicon Valley Community Foundation (SVCF), a nonprofit organization that specializes in philanthropy and charitable giving. The purpose of the JNFF is to share the company's success and resources with the communities served by Juniper Networks employees, partners, and customers. JNFF has made grants totaling nearly $4,000,000 since its establishment.
Mission: To foster and support education from early childhood through end of high school, with a focus on programs that foster technical understanding and increase job preparedness.

JNFF Grant Process
JNFF targets grants related to education and lifelong learning. The focus is on programs that foster technical understanding and increasing levels of job preparedness.
JNFF works closely with SVCF, local Juniper Networks offices, and philanthropic organizations in our communities to identify opportunities where our support can make a difference. JNFF proactively seeks out partnerships and works exclusively with SVCF who handles all grant logistics.
Corporate Philanthropy
In addition to the Foundation, Juniper Networks makes periodic donations to charitable organizations around the world. We have donated networking equipment to create a world-class research laboratory at Tsinghua University in Beijing, China. Juniper Networks has also worked with the Red Cross to help victims of the 2004 South Asian tsunami and Hurricane Katrina in 2005. We have also worked with the Hidaya Foundation to help victims of the 2005 earthquake in Kashmir and Pakistan.
Employee Involvement
Juniper Networks encourages our employees to participate in volunteer activities that make a positive impact on the community. We partner with a variety of organizations on activities and events. In addition to corporate volunteer projects, employees volunteer their time in local schools, community events and nonprofit organizations.
Matching Gift Program
Juniper Networks has a matching gift program, which allows employees to increase the impact of their personal charitable contributions for local, national, and international organizations that hold tax-exempt status and are designated a public charity under Section 501(c)(3) and 509(a)(1,2 or 3) of the United States Internal Revenue Code-Organizations based outside the U.S., the equivalent tax-exempt status, are eligible. In addition, all organizations must have the equivalent of full-time paid professional management. Through the matching gift program $500,000 has been contributed to organizations throughout the world.
