Redline Networks Offers Web Site Performance Seminar

Thirty Minute Online Seminar Covers "Boosting Web Site Availability And Performance While Lowering Costs"

Campbell, Calif., October 7, 2002 — Redline Networks, Inc., the pioneer in Web I/O Acceleration, along with Keynote Systems will present a thirty-minute web seminar entitled "Boosting Web Site Availability And Performance While Lowering Costs" on October 22, 2002 at 2:00 pm Eastern time, 11:00 am Pacific time.

The online seminar is meant as a rapid-fire introduction to issues that affect web site performance in the real world. Many web sites are inadequately monitored, perform poorly and are notoriously inefficient. Highly desirable web capabilities such as secure web content and compression further exacerbate poor performance. Existing strategies that seek to improve performance, such as content delivery networks, often cost hundreds of thousands of dollars in recurring expenses.

Mike Baglietto, Keynote Systems' senior product manager will join Redline Networks' CTO and founder, Israel L'Heureux, for a fast-paced 30-minute online introduction into the world of web performance and measurement.

Baglietto will discuss performance measurement strategies and provide a perspective on which measurements are most meaningful. L'Heureux will focus on understanding the bottlenecks that degrade web performance and availability and increase costs. He will then describe cost-effective ways to boost performance using Web I/O Acceleration to increase site availability, decrease network and infrastructure costs and speed the user experience.

Several brief case studies of Web I/O Acceleration in use at a variety of the world's best-run web sites will be discussed. Questions are encouraged at the end of the session. Registration may be found online at the following address: http://www.redlinenetworks.com/p/webseminarregistration.
