Wireless data applications and content usage are growing exponentially, making the average revenue per user (ARPU) soar much to the delight of today's wireless operators. Yet, that delight remains tempered because operators face growing bottlenecks in backhaul. Traditional TDM backhaul is too antiquated and slow to handle the soaring traffic on today's 3G networks. The issue will become that much more problematic as emerging technologies such as Long Term Evolution (LTE) and WiMAX are deployed. Operators must upgrade their backhaul solutions now to match their current and next-generation networks.
During this free, 60-minute Webcast, you'll learn about the following:
- The technical and business challenges of mobile backhaul today.
- Architectural requirements of mobile backhaul and the importance of IP/MPLS.
- Mobile backhaul design implementation considerations.
- Backhaul evolution for next-generation mobile networks such as WiMAX and LTE/SAE.
